About Me:

I have been in the travel business for over 25 years, working this industry full time for the last 4 years.  Having a growing family, I dabbled in the industry but always held down a full time job or two, and built my clientele slowly over the years.  From the time that I initially started, travel became my passion and I pride myself with having acquired clients from across the country………..most of which I have never met.  The referrals and the return client base is what I’m most proud of.  Working diligently at being an advocate for my clients and assuring that I meet all of their expectations, is first and foremost important to me.

I try to stay on top of this ever changing industry by attending as many seminars, trade shows and work trips so that I can have firsthand experiences to qualify my clients and give them the best experience for their hard earned money.  We all have budgets, but I won’t compromise my clients experience with offering them anything that I feel will impact their expectations in a negative way.  If it means cutting days off of their desired length of stay, so be it.  Not charging my clients a fee and working for them as if I were working for my own trip enables me to keep everything in the proper perspective.

The travel business is not my career choice……….it’s my personal lifestyle that enables me to assist others that entrust me with booking a stress free and memorable vacation for them and guiding them along their fun and exciting journey.

Favorite Destinations:

Jamaica - English Speaking, Deep in History, Bob Marley/reggae vibe as far as the music, mountainous terrain and 3 distinct areas for tourism, enabling different experiences depending on the location.  The excursions are also amazing at this destination if you are a history buff, thrill seeker, etc.  The food is also very good and more recognizable than some of the Hispanic destinations.  This destination has the Caribbean waters and nice beaches.
Cabo San Lucas - A combination of California and Arizona as far as the terrain…..with a touch of tropics with Palm trees.  Two distinct areas: one being an authentic Mexican town and one being a marina which offers shopping, restaurants, nightlife and water activities and wonderful fishing and site seeing tours via a glass bottom boat.  This destination is very easy to rent a car and explore on your own.  Mountains in the backdrop.  A marina that has breathtaking views and very Americanized since it is located below California.  Temps are desert like with not much rain and no humidity.  However, there are beaches at this destination, but very few are swimmable due to the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez……the Pacific area is too rough.
Riviera Maya and Cancun - Cancun being very much like South Beach in Miami:  Sidewalks, shopping malls, restaurants, High Rise Hotels like we have in the states.  Very mobile…….sidewalks and a bus that runs up and down the stip.  The Riviera Maya being more authentic Mexico, Caribbean waters, beautiful resorts with nothing built higher than a palm tree…….the Riviera Maya is part of the Yucatan Peninsula so at one time it was a jungle.  Tons of great excursions and still a lot of undeveloped land to explore.
Bahamas - Wonderful beaches and crystal clear waters.  Close to the states, so it’s not a destination that you want to travel to in the winter months……..the temps can be iffy.
Puerto Vallarta - This is also located on the Pacific Ocean………so the waters are not the Caribbean waters, but this area does have swimmable beaches and has a very European feel to it.  Great downtown area that is anchored by a beautiful Catholic Church and is deep in history and arts and textiles.  Wonderful mountain range with fun and interesting excursions.  This area is known for its’ cuisine.  Wonderful restaurants nestled up in the mountains enabling very romantic dinners with the views.  This is another area that you can rent jeeps and go exploring on your own, up in the mountains, that have some amazing sites to explore.

Favorite Type of Travel:

The all- inclusive experiences.  No driving, no added or hidden costs and built in entertainment with optional excursions.  For me, it’s a true vacation as opposed to a trip……….two different creatures.

Favorite Travel Experience:

Being put in charge of an Apple Vacations FAM to Punta Cana via our BDM, Tina Tiano.  Fourteen agents attended that FAM from Cleveland and all became personal friends afterwards.
